Size 8 = 8 1/4 inches around
Size 10 = 10 inches around
Size 12 = 12 1/4 inches around
Size 14 = 14 inches around
Size 16 = 16 inches around
Size 18= 17 1/2 inches around
Size 20= 19 1/2 inches around

To get the correct size you should measure your dog around the widest part and add two inches. This is because the harness should come off the dog's back by an inch on each side which will put proper tension on the right parts of the harness. The harness needs to come off the dog's back a little or it will make for a very uncomfortable walk for your pet!
